Blind Choice is a video work created by WAN Qing in 2015. In 2023, the artist produced an audio-described version of the work to make it more accessible to people who are blind or visually impaired. This exhibi- tion features the audio-only version, which contains no visuals. Instead, it relies solely on sound: dialogue, ambient noises, and WAN Qing’s own descriptions of the original visuals.

Wan Qing (b.1993, Chongqing) works and lives in Guangzhou and Wuling Mountain area. In addition to being an image and healing worker, she is also a member of Theatre 44 and Energy Waving Collective, the initiator of “limilink” and the caretaker of Qiantai_osf. Life, creation, and group practice together shape her landform.
